Evergreen Healthcare Partners Welcomes Dan Kerber

Evergreen Healthcare Partners is pleased to welcome Dan Kerber as a Director of Consultant Engagement.  Dan joins the organization with over 15 years of recruiting experience and is eager to jump in and support the rapidly growing Evergreen Community. He will focus his time and efforts on attracting great talent to our team, cultivating partnership with our consultants, and supporting our partners throughout their Evergreen journey.

Dan began his recruiting career in 2006 with Apex Systems in their St. Louis office where he recruited IT professionals of all backgrounds for several Fortune 500 clients.  After receiving multiple promotions in two years, life took Dan to Chicago, where he spent four years with Harmer Consultants, a boutique technical staffing firm.  While there, Dan focused on placing top talent with a variety of financial services institutions. Ultimately, he was interested in getting into Health IT, so Dan spent the following four years recruiting for Chicago area health systems. Most relevant to his work here at Evergreen was his time at NorthShore University Health System, where he worked with IT leadership to hire talented individuals to support the Epic project. Most recently, Dan led tech recruitment for a mid-sized organization in the benefits and insurance space.

“I’m drawn to organizations that do something good for the world, rather than being focused on just the bottom line,” says Kerber. “I have deep admiration for clinicians, so helping organizations hire people that make clinicians’ jobs easier, and thus able to provide better care to patients, is very fulfilling to me.”

When asked what made Dan decide to join the Evergreen team, Kerber shared, “I am a strong believer that working with a collaborative team that invests in the candidate experience is essential for success. Throughout the discussions with Evergreen, it quickly became clear that Evergreen is a company that truly values its employees and partners. Simply put, I was drawn to the great team of people and am eager to get to know the people of the Evergreen Community.”

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and resides in the Chicago suburbs.  When he’s not working, you can find him coaching his two sons’ little league teams, working out, or traveling to/exploring new places.
