Evergreen Healthcare Partners is happy to welcome Erica Neher as Managing Partner and Vice President of Advisory Services. Erica joins a team of industry leaders at Evergreen who are focused on providing innovative solutions to their healthcare partners across the country. “Erica will focus on developing and delivering solutions designed to tackle the ever-changing needs of healthcare delivery across the country,” said Dave Lundal, Managing Partner and VP of Advisory Services. “With nearly 20 years of healthcare informatics background, Erica provides us with the depth of experience needed to truly innovate and create solutions that will work within the complex healthcare environment.”
Erica previously served as the Senior Vice President of a healthcare IT company focused on interoperability. She created numerous programs designed to eliminate fax from health care through the creation of a meaningfully connected community of care partners. She owned and operated her own consulting company where she directed critical projects for Meaningful Use, medication reconciliation, implementation and adoption of health information exchange services, Carequality, a national record locator service, and clinical process improvement.
Additionally, Erica brings experience working directly for healthcare systems, where she served as the manager of inpatient clinical systems at SSM Health of Wisconsin. During this time, she was jointly responsible for the implementation of a suite of inpatient clinical applications for a multi-hospital system creating standards and governance practices designed to optimize resources and productivity. Erica also served as a clinical systems architect focused on managing a complex and highly matrixed relationship between two health systems throughout their merger and joint implementation of EHR technology, vendor selection, and provider optimization across ambulatory and inpatient workflows.
“At Evergreen, our goal is to provide diverse healthcare service offerings to our Client Partners by attracting experienced industry experts to our team,” said Drew Madden, Managing Partner. “Erica’s background in healthcare IT, interoperability, and care delivery allows us to further expand our advisory service offerings to meet the specific challenges healthcare organizations are facing today.”
During her 6 years working for Epic, Erica led a successful team of project managers and implementation staff. Erica’s team launched a new application, providing her with the experience of working to develop an implementation strategy, training curriculum, and development feedback process. Throughout her years at Epic she participated in key “firsts” at Epic such as implementations at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Allina, University of Chicago, and Kaiser Permanente.
“Healthcare is ready for change and health systems require focused attention to optimize resources, reduce costs, and create a new way of looking at care models to stay relevant in this ever-changing landscape,” stated Neher. “I am looking forward to partnering with other healthcare leaders at Evergreen to design programs to help health systems meet their goals and succeed.”
