Position Overview

We’re seeking experienced, certified Epic Analysts and Senior Epic Consultants who bring deep Epic expertise and a consultative mindset. This role is ideal for professionals who take ownership of their work, value strong relationships, and want to be part of a firm that prioritizes people as much as delivery.

As a consultant, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to our client partners, supporting strategic Epic initiatives while collaborating closely with client stakeholders, project leaders, and end users. You’ll be matched thoughtfully to opportunities that align with your experience, strengths, and professional goals.

What You'll Do

Depending on project scope and role alignment, responsibilities might include:

  • Deliver Epic consulting services across implementations, optimizations, upgrades, Connect/acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives
  • Analyze current workflows and system build; recommend and implement improvements grounded in best practice
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy Epic system changes within your certified application(s)
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide thoughtful, well-documented solutions
  • Partner with client leadership, project teams, and end users to gather requirements and drive alignment
  • Lead or contribute to project planning, risk identification, issue tracking, and status reporting
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to client analysts or junior consultants as appropriate
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation to support sustainability and knowledge transfer
  • Represent our organization with professionalism, integrity, and care in all client interactions
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams

Consultant Mindset & Values Alignment

  • You take ownership, follow through, and communicate proactively
  • You value trust, transparency, and mutual respect in professional relationships
  • You approach challenges with curiosity, compassion, and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • You understand that every client—and every consultant—is unique
  • You care about doing meaningful work that positively impacts healthcare organizations and the people they serve
  • You invest in coaching, mentoring, and supporting the client team to ensure you leave the client and their team better than when you began the partnership

Nice to Have

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Experience mentoring or leading workstreams
  • Exposure to multi-application or enterprise-wide Epic initiatives
  • Willingness to travel as client requests
Other Required Qualifications

Should you travel on-site to a client site, or a partner of Evergreen, and specific vaccinations are required by the client/partner, Evergreen does require our staff to meet these requirements. If you cannot meet the requirements, you might be asked to provide a religious or medical accommodation pursuant to the state and federal law.

About Us

Founded in 2017 by experienced healthcare IT leaders, we were built with a simple but powerful vision: create a people-first consulting firm that delivers exceptional results without losing sight of the individual.

Trust, transparency, grace, and responsiveness are not buzzwords at Evergreen; they’re the foundation of how we work. We believe collective success is achieved when every person understands their value, feels genuinely appreciated, and knows their work matters. That belief shapes how we support our consultants, how we partner with clients, and how we show up for one another every day.

While our roots are in Epic EHR implementations, our impact has grown to support health systems across optimization, upgrades, informatics, Connect and acquisitions, ERP, cloud initiatives, and beyond. Our strength lies in our thoughtful, personalized approach. We invest time in truly understanding both our consultants and our clients so that every partnership is aligned, authentic, and set up for success.
